GFM 2010: INTENSIVE SEMINAR IN PARIS
From April 6th to 15th with our partner institutions: FIT, New York and HKPU, Hong Kong.

Each year, the students in the Executive MBA Global Fashion Management have three shared seminars with our partner institutions: the Fashion Institute of Technology from New York and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The first of three seminars took place in New York last September; one will take place in China next November (Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Shanghai).

From April 6th to 15th, the Parisian seminar – coordinated by Véronique Schilling, the Program Director – is mainly based around the specific issues in France in terms of design, culture, craftsmanship and luxury, with an in-depth focus on the issues of “high luxury clients” with Christian Dior Couture.

The seminar attendees include 63 students from FIT New York, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the IFM. These professionals, of very diverse nationalities (18 Chinese, 13 Americans, 1 Canadian, 2 Argentineans, 1 Indian, 1 Pakistani, 2 Koreans, 2 Japanese, 1 Russian, 1 Swiss, 1 Bosnian, 1 Dutch, 1 Lebanese and 18 French) occupy mainly managerial posts in fashion or wish to orient their skills in that direction. Their average age is 35 and they have 5 years professional experience (11 for the IFM class).
