CAROLINE CASANOVA (IFM 2007-2008)
WINS THE ANNABELLE PRIZE.

A distinction that will enable the young student to spend a year at Tommy Hilfiger in New York.

Caroline Casanova, a student in the 2007-2008 cohort following IFM’s Postgraduate Fashion & Design Management Program, has just won the 2007 « Annabelle » Prize in Switzerland (November 9th 2007). This prize will enable her to benefit from an entire year’s internship at Tommy Hilfiger in New York. Tommy Hilfiger, moreover, personally came to Zurich to present the prize to his future associate.

Aged 24, Caroline Casanova is a young fashion designer from Berne. She convinced the jury in presenting a collection baptised «The Truth is Found between the Lines ». Before coming to IFM to improve her knowledge of management, Caroline studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Basel, and held internships at Isabelle Ballu, Moritz Rogosky and Karl Lagerfeld.

The « Annabelle » prize is awarded each year by the Swiss Textile Federation and the women’s magazine « Annabelle », during the well-known « Stella Fashion Night » (the other prize, the « Swiss Textiles Awards », was awarded this year to Marios Schwab, a 30 year old Austrian designer).

The jury was made up of Robin Schulie from Maria Luisa, Matthew Murphy (BStore), and the designer Albert Kriemler.
