A breakfast/press conference took place on Tuesday, January 19th attended by Lucien Deveaux (President of Défi) and Dominique Jacomet (Director of the IFM).
During this meeting, attendees heard the unpublished results of an IFM study funded by the Défi on the changes in the consumer mindset and behavior in a recession. The study was carried out and presented by Evelyne Chaballier, Head of Economic Trends and Forecasting at the IFM and Christel Carlotti, consultant.
The study is based on the analysis of 6 consumer round-table discussions, 2 surveys of 1000 consumers in November 2008 and October 2009, and in-depth interviews of 25 brand and distribution executives from the mass market to the luxury market (May to October 2009). |
