The Economic Observatory at the IFM has published a bilingual (French/English) booklet that presents and gives succinct commentary on the key figures in the textile-clothing industry on a global scale (production, investment, labor costs, employment figures), the markets (clothing, household, technical textiles), as well as world trade figures in the textile industry. Like the textile-fashion-interiors guide, this work aid will be updated each year. This publication is merely the start of a series of publications by the IFM’s Economic Observatory aimed at readers abroad: an English language economic newsletter will soon be available to accompany the existing monthly letter in French.
