CLASSES HAVE COME TO AN END FOR THE SECOND YEAR OF THE ADVANCED MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IN FASHION&LUXURY

The second year of the AMP (Advanced Management Program in Fashion and Luxury) came to an end on Sunday March 17th in Beijing. Established in 2006 by the Institut Français de la Mode, HEC Paris and Tsinghua University of Beijing, each year this program trains high level executives specialized in the Chinese fashion and luxury markets. The final module of this part-time program was given over to fashion culture with Florence Müller, a lecturer at the Institut Français de la Mode.

As part of the course, Didier Grumbach, President of the Fédération de la Couture
, du Prêt-à-porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de mode, came to give a conference for the Chinese launch of his book Histoires de Mode. Each participant received a copy of the book.

40 diplomas were handed out during the closing ceremony attended by all of the partners of the program : Xue Lei, Program Director at the School of Economics and Management de l'Université Tsinghua (Beijing), Sylvie Ebel, Deputy Director of the Institut Français de la Mode, Joshua Kobb, International program director in « Executive Education » at HEC Paris, Guilhène Maratier-Decléty, head of International relations at the CCIP .

A group of participants will come to Paris in May for an optional seminar that will enable them to meet important players in the fashion sector and to familiarize themselves with the French culture of fashion and luxury.
