An optional seminar in Paris takes place at the end of the program. It represents a unique opportunity for AMP participants to understand what makes the essence of Paris Haute Couture and luxury houses.

Emphasis will be put on the specific importance of culture, innovation and creation within these industries.

The experience includes high-level meetings and conferences given by experts and leaders from fashion, luxury and design industries.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The program is designed to provide opportunities for executives and managers in the fashion and luxury sectors to develop the knowledge, international perspective and managerial skills required to enhance their company's competitiveness, innovative capabilities and brand reputation. The program addresses these issues through lectures with world-class professors. Teaching methods include lectures, cases and group work. The program leaves ample time for the exchange of experience between participants of different nationalities, educational backgrounds and professional experience as well as with prestigious guest speakers from top fashion luxury companies, and to learn from world experts.
This comprehensive program is an integrated six-step sequence designed to equip executives and managers of the fashion and luxury sectors with the necessary global outlook, specialist understanding and management skills required to become the future leaders in these industries.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
• Module 1 introduces the participants to the general trends of the industry, and helps them to think strategically and to take a global view of the strategies and specificities of luxury and fashion businesses.
• Modules 2 and 3 set the rules of fashion and luxury. This part of the program decodes the specificities of the fashion culture. It also focuses on brand management as one of the pillars of fashion and luxury businesses.
• Modules 4, 5 and 6 deepen the specificities of these sectors, focusing on consumer behavior and market trends, and associated communication and retail strategies. This part of the program opens the perspectives towards growth strategies on the basis of business models analysis.

The optional "Paris Experience" seminar is representative of the overall objectives of the program: it provides participants an exceptional chance to develop a network of contacts by meeting key players in the French fashion and luxury industry, and the opportunity to hear and see best practices that can be adapted and applied in the participants' own businesses.


Through close interaction with an international faculty composed of senior academic and professional lecturers from both France and China, participants gain insight into fashion and luxury management issues and an in-depth understanding of tradition and modernity, theory and professional practice.

PARTICIPANTS
The program is intended for corporate leaders, senior executive managers, senior heads of functional departments, high potential young managers, government representatives and experts working in the fashion, luxury, design-based industries and operating in China and international markets.


LANGUAGE
The program is bilingual, taught in English and Chinese with translation. Course material is provided in both languages.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE
Attendance is compulsory for all modules in China.
Participants who successfully complete the six modules are awarded an International Certificate jointly delivered by Tsinghua SEM, the IFM, and HEC Paris.
