To apply to IFM’s Design Program, you must already have a BA (Bachelor of Arts) with the level of Bac+ 4/Bac+ 5 (or the international equivalent) from an Art, Design, Style or Architecture school.

Exceptions may be made for candidates that can justify a high-level creative project, reinforced by significant professional experience.

Admission process

A three-stage admission process:

1- Admissibility decided on application file

The application file enables the candidate to present their creative universe, their achievements and previous experience, professional objectives and motivations.



2- Preparation for elements necessary to the admission jury

In order to complete their file, the candidates shortlisted to go before the admission jury must send a creative project to IFM on a set theme, in the form of a 10 to 15 minute maximum video.

3- Presentation of complete files to jury members without the presence of the applicant

The admission jury is composed of members of the IFM teaching staff and industry professionals.

School fees and financing



10 000 € for the 2013-2014 academic year.

• This includes:
• teaching
• the development of prototypes with industry and fashion houses
• transport and accommodation costs for all outside trips.

An initial fee of 1 500 Euros must be paid on registration and is non-refundable.

Means-tested grants are available from Cercle IFM.
