ORIENTATION COUNCILS
When outlining its choices and strategies, the IFM consults with experts brought together regularly for sessions where they discuss their own practices and experiences using them to steer the direction the ifm takes in different areas or themes.

IFM'S ACADEMIC AFFAIRS COUNCIL (CAA)
President : Jean-Bernard Devernois, Vice president, Union des Industries Textiles (Textile Industries Professional Association).
The academic affairs council is in charge of supervising the orientation of the IFM's teaching and research programs.

IFM'S ECONOMIC AFFAIRS COUNCIL (CAE)
President : Philippe Pasquet, president of the board of Première Vision.
The economic affairs council is in charge of supervising the adaptation and development of the IFM's observational activities and market research.
