IFM Research examines the big changes in design, innovation, changing ways of life and consumption. It carries out an in-depth analysis of cultural, sociological, stylistic and economic trends at work in the creative industries, exploring notably the new functionality and what new technology has changed.

IFM Research carries out research and forecasting by bringing together experts and academics from a wide range of fields, in cooperation with university and academic research (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Universities, CNAM...), or with other public establishments such as Cité du Design de Saint Etienne, VIA and IFFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes), of which IFM is a founding member.
